Mars World Terms

Last updated October 29, 2026. Plain-language terms for using Mars World and claiming lots, suites and islands.

1. Who runs Mars World

Mars World is operated by Drew Biggerstaff / KnockandClose. "Mars Realty" and "Mars Control" are the in-world names for the team that handles parcel requests, payments and support. Contact: knockandclosehq@gmail.com.

2. What you're claiming

Mars World parcels (homes, build plots) and office leases are digital items for use inside this virtual world. They are not investments: no returns, income or profit are promised, and there is no promise that prices will rise. Parcels are recorded in the Mars Realty registry (off-chain), a record kept by the operator. Nothing is minted on a blockchain today; on-chain deeds are planned but not promised on any date, and no resale market exists yet.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in USD: homes $25 / $50 / $100 (one-time claim), office suites $10 / $20 / $25 / $40 per month (Micro, Apex, Ridge, Summit) (lease), community build plots $250. You pay through an X Money payment link, or the USD equivalent in crypto on the Solana network to the listed Phantom address. Send only on the Solana network; funds sent on other networks will be lost and cannot be recovered by us. Payments within 3% under the listed USD price at the time of payment count as paid in full. We never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.

4. Reservations

Submitting the Secure Your Parcel form holds that parcel for 24 hours pending payment. If Mars Realty has not confirmed your payment within 24 hours, the hold is released and the parcel may go to someone else. A parcel is yours once Mars Realty confirms the payment and records it in the registry; we email you when that happens.

5. Refunds

Purchases are final unless Mars Realty can't deliver the parcel (for example, it was already taken, or we can't record it for you). In that case we refund the amount you paid, in the same asset and to the address or X Money account it came from, minus nothing on our side; network fees charged by the blockchain are outside our control. Payments sent to the wrong network or address can't be refunded.

6. Office lease rules

7. Mars Credits rules

8. AI HQ resident perk

Residents can submit their bots for a free AI HQ analysis and helper bot (see What residents get). Deliverables are reviewed and approved by Drew Biggerstaff before they are sent. They are suggestions and tools only; no business results are promised. Never send passwords, API keys or seed phrases.

9. Conduct and changes

Please keep resident names, bots and content lawful and respectful; we may decline or remove content that isn't. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes don't affect purchases already confirmed.

Ads and sales bots

Ad slots (billboards, AI HQ lobby screens, sponsored Robo-taxi stops, event sponsor slots) and sales kiosks cost $1 per day. Every ad is labelled and links out to the business's own page; nothing is paid inside Mars World. There are no full-screen ads. Ads follow the same content rules as storefronts (no explicit content, no games of chance, no investment claims) and may be removed. Sales bots stay at their own lot, office or kiosk, greet visitors only within a few metres, and never follow anyone. Visitors only get sales pitches if they turn on "Open to offers" (off by default), at most 3 a day, with block and mute-all options; these settings are stored only on your device.

Storefronts (city islands)

City islands such as Solis Springs are invented Mars towns. Storefronts and office suites are monthly leases: Micro $10/mo, Apex $20/mo, Ridge $25/mo, Summit $40/mo. Founding local businesses get the first month free on a Micro suite only and then pay the listed monthly price. Each paid month comes with 250 MC starter credits. Payment, the 24-hour hold, the 3% tolerance and refunds work the same way as for offices. Storefronts are for genuine local businesses: Mars Realty may verify a claim and can reassign a lot if a claim is false, infringes someone's trademark or goes unpaid. No real business is listed or named unless it claims a lot itself, and a listing doesn't mean any business endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with Mars World. Storefronts are virtual space, not an investment.

Content rule and X links

No nudity and no sexual or explicit images or text anywhere in Mars World: signs, storefronts, products, greetings, office walls and screens. Adult creators are welcome with a clean storefront that links to their X account. A storefront or lot may set an optional X handle, which shows a “View on X” button that opens x.com in a new tab. X handles its own age checks and content; Mars World never hosts or embeds that content. To report a storefront, use the “Report this storefront” link or email knockandclosehq@gmail.com with the lot ID. Storefronts that break this rule are removed.

Founding 1,000 and invites

The first 1,000 confirmed signups get free access, a free first month on a Micro suite, a Founding 1,000 badge on their shop or island, and first pick of new islands. Spots count once Mars Realty confirms them by email. A lot is reserved only after a real signup is confirmed. After 1 month it continues as a normal paid lease or is released; it doesn't become owned land. The free first month covers Micro suites only. After the month the space goes back to open unless you start paying. Nothing renews or bills on its own, and your bot keeps its HQ dock spot either way. You keep your Founding 1,000 badge either way (Founder is a separate rank). Invite points (50 per confirmed referred signup) and ranks are in-game only: they have no cash value, are non-refundable, can't be bought, sold or transferred, and never cash out. Mars World is an independent, unofficial project. Nothing here is an investment.

Private islands

A private island is a one-time claim of $1,000, or 4 payments of $275. The island is held for you after the first payment and recorded as yours in the registry after the fourth. If a payment is more than 7 days late, the hold ends. What happens to payments already made is decided case by case by the operator; they are not automatically forfeited. The first 5 Founding islands are $750 and include naming rights, a launch event and one featured X post. There is no monthly fee; an optional extras plan is $20/mo. Each island has about 10 lots that you may lease to your own tenants at rents you set, and you keep that rent. Mars World keeps 5% of any resale of a lot or island, once resales are supported. Islands are virtual space for building a community, not an investment: no income, returns or rise in value are promised. Payment, the 3% tolerance and refunds work as in sections 3 and 5.
