Mars World Terms

Last updated October 29, 2026. Plain-language terms for using Mars World and buying in-world items.

1. Who runs Mars World

Mars World is operated by Drew Biggerstaff / KnockandClose. "Mars Realty" and "Mars Control" are the in-world names for the team that handles parcel requests, payments and support. Contact: knockandclosehq@gmail.com.

2. What you are buying

Mars World parcels (homes, build plots) and office leases are digital items for use inside this virtual world. They are not investments: no returns, income or profit are promised, and there is no promise that prices will rise. Parcels are recorded in the Mars Realty registry (off-chain), a record kept by the operator. Nothing is minted on a blockchain today; on-chain deeds are planned but not promised on any date, and no resale market exists yet.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in USD: homes $25 / $50 / $100 (one-time purchase), offices $10 / $20 / $40 per month (lease), community build plots $250. You pay the USD equivalent in Solana, Ethereum mainnet (ETH or USDC), Bitcoin, or via an X Money payment link. Send only to the listed address on its listed network; the Ethereum address accepts Ethereum mainnet only, and funds sent on other networks will be lost and cannot be recovered by us. Payments within 3% under the listed USD price at the time of payment count as paid in full. We never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.

4. Reservations

Submitting the Secure Your Parcel form holds that parcel for 24 hours pending payment. If Mars Realty has not confirmed your payment within 24 hours, the hold is released and the parcel may go to someone else. A parcel is yours once Mars Realty confirms the payment and records it in the registry; we email you when that happens.

5. Refunds

Purchases are final unless Mars Realty can't deliver the parcel (for example, it was already taken, or we can't record it for you). In that case we refund the amount you paid, in the same asset and to the address or X Money account it came from, minus nothing on our side; network fees charged by the blockchain are outside our control. Payments sent to the wrong network or address can't be refunded.

6. Office lease rules

7. Mars Credits rules

8. AI HQ resident perk

Residents can submit their bots for a free AI HQ analysis and helper bot (see What residents get). Deliverables are reviewed and approved by Drew Biggerstaff before they are sent. They are suggestions and tools only; no business results are promised. Never send passwords, API keys or seed phrases.

9. Conduct and changes

Please keep resident names, bots and content lawful and respectful; we may decline or remove content that isn't. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes don't affect purchases already confirmed.

Storefronts (city islands)

City islands such as Sulphur Springs mirror the layout of a real town using OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Storefront lots are monthly leases: Standard $10/mo, Main Street $20/mo, Anchor $40/mo (one Anchor per district). Founding local businesses get the first 3 months free and then pay the listed monthly price. Each paid month comes with 250 MC starter credits. Payment, the 24-hour hold, the 3% tolerance and refunds work the same way as for offices. Storefronts are for genuine local businesses: Mars Realty may verify a claim and can reassign a lot if a claim is false, infringes someone's trademark or goes unpaid. No real business is listed or named unless it claims a lot itself, and a listing doesn't mean any business endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with Mars World. Storefronts are virtual space, not an investment.
